
The newest Macbooks are extremely good for gaming and are even better than the majority of Windows computers. Playing your favourite game on the Macbook is easy, and here’s how to do it.
Method 1: Bluestacks
You can do this by using Bluestacks. You have to make sure that you own the game on your Google Play Store account.
- Open your browser on your Mac
- Go to the Bluestacks website here.
- Download and install it.
- Open the Play Store and install the Minecraft application that you have bought from your Google account.
- That’s it!

Method 2: Booting from a USB
Due to some companies making you have to buy their software in order to actually virtualise anything. Here’s how to do it for free.
What you will need
- You will need a USB stick with 16GB or more storage
How to do it
Mac
- Open your browser
- Head over to the link here.
- Click on select edition, and click Windows 10 multi-edition ISO
- Choose the product language
- Click on 64-bit download
- After downloading the ISO file, download balenaEtcher
- Install it
- Open it and choose the ISO file
- Then choose the USB file
- Click on Flash!
Windows
- Open your browser
- Head over to the link here.
- Right-click on the page and click on Inspect Element
- In the top left-hand corner click on the icon that looks like a tablet and a mobile phone
- Go onto the webpage and select Dimensions: iPhone XE
- Refresh the webpage.
- Click on select edition, and click Windows 10 multi-edition ISO
- Choose the product language
- Click on 64-bit download
- Download Rufus
- Choose the USB
- Choose the ISO
- Click on Start

Now let’s boot from the USB on a Macbook.
- Plugin the USB
- Shutdown the Mac
- Press the power-on button while holding the option key
- Choose the USB
- That’s it!
Now all you have to do is set up Windows and install Minecraft. The Windows will run as fast as the Mac is able to.
